Who is ProBox Ltd.
ProBox is a Bulgarian manufacturer of Bag-in-Box packaging – a modern solution for packing
and storing liquid or semi-liquid food products. Their portfolio covers:
- Bag-in-Box inner bags with taps, in various film structures and barrier levels;
- cardboard outers designed for each bag size;
- machines and equipment for filling Bag-in-Box bags;
- accessories and auxiliary solutions for filling lines.
The modern factory is designed to handle both large-volume production and customised projects,
combining automation with close monitoring of every production stage.
ProBox aims to provide a “one-stop shop” for Bag-in-Box packaging – all components needed,
from inner bag to outer carton and equipment, through a single partner.
Technology, quality and responsibility
ProBox uses multilayer films with high- or low-barrier properties, depending on the application:
from EVOH and MET-PET for products sensitive to oxygen and light, to dedicated combinations
for drinking water or detergents.
- Certified raw materials: European suppliers with full traceability.
- In-house quality control: own laboratory and checks at several points in production.
- Food safety focus: processes and materials aligned with European standards.
- Sustainability: emphasis on waste reduction and carbon footprint, using Bag-in-Box formats that are lighter and more compact than rigid packaging.
For producers, this translates into robust packaging with reduced risk of puncture or leakage
and predictable behaviour throughout the logistics chain.
Applications – from wine to technical products
While wine and juices are central to many projects, ProBox develops Bag-in-Box solutions
for a much broader range of products:
- Food liquids: wine, juices, nectars, drinking water, edible oils, milk and other sensitive products.
- Ingredients and semi-finished products: fruit purées, sauces, syrups, vinegar, soy sauce and other components used in industry.
- Non-food liquids: liquid detergents, cleaning products, automotive fluids, technical solutions and liquid fertilisers.
The versatility of Bag-in-Box makes it suitable both for end-consumer formats (retail, HoReCa)
and for B2B flows and industrial applications.
